Reuniting A Kingdom Part 2: Tundra Tussle (OPEN)

If Angelique hadn't been so bitter, with plenty of reasons to for years now, she'd have been impressed with the fact that she could just accompany the march on the Encampment to save the Queen and the other prisoners. But she couldn't focus on this, actually, she really hated that he hadn't given her the chance yet to go ahead of the army and try to get to Mari before anything worse were to happen, but of course the show of force and his own ego seemed to be more important than a safer plan to try and get her out of there.

She moved closer towards Vlad after he had made his announcement, looking at him for a moment, raising an eyebrow, then eventually sighed as she looked back at the camp, just noticing one of Vlad's agents moving in with the attack of the army, to try and find his family obviously. "How nice of you to also include me in this plan, as if I do not already feel responsible enough for letting them get taken." She told him, narrowing her eyes, but refraining from saying anything more than that. "But I'm still not just going to fight some random enemies, or stay here next to you." She then added, giving him a short look with a slight smile, before she moved off quickly.

On the way, she did realize she might be somewhat unreasonable, but she would never really admit that to herself, since she still truly believed after all this time that she was in the right with this. She looked at the sky when it darkened even more, rolling her eyes knowing full well who was showing his own powers and forces off, as she had seen Jon when he had showed himself to Vlad, so he'd know that he was here, but there was probably a double meaning to that as well.

She could use this to her advantage though, which she was instantly planning on doing, as she used her shadow jumping to make her way into the camp, looking around quickly at the tents, then moving again, focusing on herh earing, blocking the battle out as much as she could without letting her guard down, to try and get a sense of where the prisoners tent was and if she could hear any of them. "Come on, you have to be around here... Where are you?" She mumbled frustrated in herself, but then also repeated it with her telepathy.

[Corvin]

On a distant mountain top, far from the conflict, but well within a telescope’s site, Corvin sat comfortably in a leather chair, with a decently sized bonfire roaring in the back, behind him. To the side, Leann was preparing tea for him, as he watched the conflict prepare to begin from the distance. On a small table before Corvin was a crystal ball. The ball was magically linked to a telescope that stood on a tripod, overlooking the Encampment. Corvin and Leann were a safe distance from the battle and thus, felt no immediate fear over being caught in the conflict.



Corvin watched from the orb as the battles commenced, with Nergal taking the first strike. The Lich King tackled a dragon, bit him, and flew off as the dragon he bit violently turned into a Lich, itself. It would spread like a plague, and before Samael knew it, he would be drowning in Lich, under Nergal’s command. Such would be the end of the great and powerful Kruziik Hun’Drog. Corvin laughed as he took a cup of tea that Lean served him and added a bit of Scotch to it, as the cold air of the Tundra raged on.



“Leann, what do you wager the amount of bloodshed will be among Samael’s troops?” Corvin asked rhetorically and with a laugh.

Micah sensed the approach of something dark and foul. A dark force beyond the filth of demons, an abomination, and unclean dead risen breaking the line of life and death. The work of Vlad no doubt. Micah knew Vlad would go to any lengths for his family, but this, this was too far. "That fool, what has he done? Abusing his power like this, he has no idea what he is doing, I will have to stop this myself before it spreads out of control and worse; out of his control." Micah lit up as armor encompassed his body and in his hand a spear manifested with its feathery tip lighting up made of pure light. Micah stepped out of the tent looking towards the lich dragon. The foulness of the beast disgusted Micah. The encampment was in chaos as battle broke out and the two forces began their clash. Micah took a breath and relaxed. He would not go into battle angry or vengeful but clear minded and righteous. Micah gave pause as he contemplated his next move. He wished to stop the beast and hopefully reason with Vlad to pull back once Marina was free. Samael had gotten what he wanted, he doubted Samael would push to pursue Vlad without having completed the unification of his people into a proper army nor without the power he sought. He did not want to leave his mother here but he knew she could take care of herself, it was Katya that he was more concerned for, he was not sure what her capabilities were. 

This had no hope of ending until Vlad had his family. "Mother, you must make your way to Vlad, convince him to pull back and end this madness. I will go to Katya and promise to ensure she is safe at the very least. I will try to persuade her to accompany me to you but I cannot promise this. I will stay with her though no matter her choice. Samael has gotten what he wants it will be on Vlad to end this." Micah moved switftly to the now closed entrance of the Ice dragons where Samael and his company had gone. He saw the death and destruction that the lich dragon brought and as each dragon fell to it, they later rose, all monstrosities. Micah tried to find forgiveness for both Samael and Vlad but as each life ended on both sides a fire built up in Micah urging him to unleash heavenly wraith. Micah approached seeing the conflict befall on many dragons, he searched for Katya, but he was interrupted by a dragon that had fallen and risen into an abomination.

The dragon leapt at Micah which he agilely evaded with a graceful spin to the side just barely out of reach. Upon coming around from the spin facing the dragon he in one fluid movement threw his spear forward and from the end of its staff grew a chain of solid light connected to his wrist. The spear enter the dragons side and unlike conventional weapons his weapon burned away and seared painfully at the dragons body. Micah pulled back and the spear retracted from the chain back into his hand. The dragon roared angrily and spewed a dark fire at Micah. Micah quickly took to the sky avoiding the flames to which the undead dragon pursued. Micah was much quicker than the dragon was, he wove in and out piercing the dragon desperately thrashing and clawing at him until the dragon fell from the sky in skeletal pieces what ever was left of it before simmered and burned away by Micahs holy light. Micah moved on to where Katya was now frustrated. "I am growing tired of this mortal coil sweet sister. Might I persuade you to return to your mother to safety? I am not permitted to take any meaningful action in this conflict but I will not see harm befall upon you. Please come with me."

Before Micah could continue his plea to his younger sister more undead dragons rose as quickly as they fell and moved. There were others there that he had seen leave with Samael but it was only a matter of time before they were over run. Micah grumbled aggravated that he had to interfere further but he would protect all those that he could. Micah took a breath and held out his palm and from it a beam of blinding light flashed forward. As Micah moved so did it, and as it hit each undead fiend they burst into holy fire burning away, as a dragon flew overhead and caste down a deathly fire ball Micah halted his attack and created a barrier of light to shield from the attack. Micah began to tire. He would not be able to use his powers much more. He gripped his holy spear and prepared to defend his sister and those around him whether she liked it or not.

[Adam]

He almost did not notice the other footprints as he made his way towards the tunnels, but as fate had it, Samael shifted his head to the side, and noticed a fresh pair of footprints that had made their way alongside his own. The floor being so smooth allowed for perfect silence, and if one was an assassin of Sylthanis, then silence was One’s greatest ally. Samael turned to see the assassin standing behind Elder Iiz, and as Samael went to telekinetically pull Iiz back, saving him from the first swipe, a blade from the assassin’s other hand met the Elder’s abdomen. Samael pulled the Elder back with his left hand and pushed him into the arms of the other Elders. ”GET HIM OUT OF HERE AND ALERT YOUR MAGES!! WE ARE AT WAR!!” The Hun’Drog roared to the Elders as they vanished immediately, leaving Samael with the assassin.

Unsheathing his sword, Samael circled the room, glaring at the assassin as he assessed the she-beast before him. The claws were of some notice, and her eyes were animalistic in nature. Her blade was unique, but to Samael, it was just another weapon that was to be used in an attempt to kill him. “So, Vlad at last sends someone,” he said, gazing her up and down, but only waiting for her to attack, “heh. A shame really...he should have challenged me, himself.” Samael approached the assassin with his sword raised, his eyes burning a fiery red, and a compressed ball of air within his left hand.

As Samael went to drop to deliver a downward spiral slash against the woman’s abdomen, he was cut short of his strike by another strike against the stronghold. He did not know if his attack hit, or not, but as soon as he felt his sword arm reach up into the air, he released the aero-sphere in his hand, unleashing a blast of wind, that sent everything flying in every direction.

Inwardly cursing again, Agatha noticed how eventually only her back-up attack with the blade had hit her target, but not even with the lethal sort of attack she had been aiming for. Still, she didn't hesitate for a second to change her posture and stand at the ready, face-to-face with Samael, causing her eyes to stay lit brightly with determination and anger, whuile she kept her claws out, obviously not planning on just so easily giving up as he might hope, or even might think. She wasn't sure, but her own mind was made up about this.

She watched the Elders dissapear with her target, and shook her head because of this, before she looked at Samael, frowning in disbelief when he seemed to be so sure of his guess that she had been sent by Vlad to take him on. "Reality check, take al ook outside! He is coming here to fight you himself, but not before many people will die around you two for whatever the hell either of you wants to achieve! Someone has to put a stop to this war, before it gets more out of control! Both of you are so power hungry you don't even think of what other people, other creatures might get caught in the process, or what this will do to the lands itself!" She snapped at him, a growl escaping her lips as she did so. Her claws coming out more as she growled more threateningly against him. "I might not exactly stand a chance, but there is no way I'll give up on trying to stop this madness!" She hissed at him.

Agatha managed to take advantage of the new strike that hit the stronghold, but it wasn't enough to avoid the entire attack, especially since she went in for the offense as soon as she saw the option, deciding that she'd go for trying to make Samael as weak as she could with her poison, or at least, she'd hope she would manage to get that result. So the downward spiral of Samael's sword didn't hit her abdomen as he had obviously intended, but it did hit her side pretty ugly nonetheless, followed by it being pretty impossible in the tight space that they were still in, to avoid the aero-sphere which did indeed send everything flying, including herself against one of the walls, hard as some of the debris that automatically flew up, hit her in the process, causing her to be stunned for a moment, even with her fighting her hardest to try and regain her composure and get back up, which she already started to do, scrambling up to her feet as best as she could and ignoring her injury.

[Vlad Drăculea]

Katya

When it all started, things went side ways fairly quickly. The very moment the song of the banshees filled the air things around the encampment started exploding. Bodies flying everywhere, dragons clashing in the skies above and the undead wading in with swinging limbs. The groans of the horde of the undead were like a dull and droning sound that drowned out most cries. If only she had more power to stop them en mass she could have aided the dragons more. Controlling this many corpses took a power that she could scarcely wrap her mind around. Her silver eyes stared in disbelief as she watched them tackle soldiers to the ground and begin to devour their flesh.

Katya took two steps back on instinct; suddenly realizing that she was more afraid than she realized. This was madness, her fathers power was beyond anything she could have calculated and she wanted to sound the retreat for Samael's people. Yet she felt like there were be no retreat this day, that the battle here would deplete the resistance until her father won by attrition. For every soldier that fell today, two more rose on her fathers side. Necromancy was a nasty ability which required you to fully annihilate your foe and your allies downed bodies or else pay the price.

Suddenly a voice would snap her out of her reverie; Micah waded through the legions to get to her. There was a small part of her that thought she might be glad to see him now- but the rebellious side of her always won out. Their interests were not hers, they did not understand what she was hoping to set in motion here. Katya needed to obtain that power so that she might create more of her kind; fuse two people to create an entirely new species on Yalanze. She and Ingeras were the first of their kind and if this did not go as she planned most likely the last of their kind.

"No! I have to see this through. Words will not reach that monster, I must find a way to stop this!" she shouted at him over the sounds of battle. Raising a hand, she reanimated the bodies of two fallen dragons to stand guard over her. Slapping their swords against their shields they formed up on her, creating a barrier between her and the hungry dead. "Just see that she does not get herself killed. Mother is too weak to do what she must." she said before turning away from him. In only moments her and her guard vanished into the ocean of bodies yet her final words sounded more like concern than spitting in his face.

Isolde

After the cave collapsed she felt her body being thrown out of the way of the debris. When she came to she only noticed that Minerva and Samael were not present. Cursing the gods this day, she rose and reclaimed the fallen blade next to her as she shook off the shock. Stumbling out towards the battle, she coughed the debris out of her lungs and despaired at what she saw looming above the battle. A dragon so corrupt that she felt it burn in her very soul; the magic behind such a monster was immense and she needed to unravel it quickly. As she went to move, she paused for a moment as she felt a strange familiarity in what she was seeing.

'No..' she whispered to herself as she clutched the hilt of her blade. There was no way that the thing before her was what she thought it might be. There was only one way she was going to be sure, however, and so she cast aside her mortal form and rose as a magnificent draconian defender to the skies. Like a shot she took off after the massive lich dragon before her, launching a giant fireball in it's direction. She had to get it's attention to give the ground troops the time they needed to regroup and prepare a proper counter attack amongst the chaos. "You'll go no further!" a deep voice rumbled across the skies as she growled her statement.

Clashing with the man, she would lock her talons on to him and attempt to drag him to the ground in her fury. Thrashing her talons wildly, she aimed to eviscerate the enemies flesh knowing full well that she could not kill him with such wounds. Her only chance was to ground the monster and incinerate him with dragons fire; leave nothing behind for the enemy to reform. She only hoped that wherever he was that her brother was fairing much better in his task. If the water dragons did not rise from their kingdom they would face a defeat far beyond their estimated loss today. She never relayed the information she gathered fully, but today was not going to be a victory due to their current battle strength. The dragons were not ready for open warfare with such an enemy.

Vlad

As the scene unfolded before him, he rested his hands on the horn of his saddle. Through a darkened cowl he watched with a satisfied look of amusement on his face. He could feel each and every soul as the final gasp of air left their bodies and they weaved through the air. If only they saw this battle the way that he was seeing it; it was almost a form of art. His aura that he emanated drew the souls towards him and fused them with his body only serving to increase his combat strength. The dragons had underestimated his power this day, their lives only served to further cement his own power and control over the mass of dead surging down the canyon towards the encampment.

Before long he was joined by Jon who brought an army of his own, something they would discuss after the battle. Not far behind either was Angelique who did not wait for an order from her king; an act of defiance he would not soon forget. He had plans for all of his pawns and no room for those who did not play well with the others. Letting his senses wander, he could feel them down there in the camp, his family. Yet there was someone on the field that he did not expect, a presence that resonated with his own that caused him to curse the very beings that drew him to this power.

There was an angel down on the field, one he assumed no doubt had much to do with what was going on as well. It was tricky enough having done what he had done to maintain the one he brought back all those years ago. Another angel would confuse the balance he had in his kingdom, free her power and cause her to want for more than what Sylthanus could provide. At the very least, that was how the mind of the monster worked in this moment. This is what would spur the monster himself to enter the field as he dismounted his steed. Walking slowly down the pass, Vlad held out a hand and summoned a rather large scythe to his hands. All those who stood before him would not suffer it's touch and continue to draw breath.

With large arcing swipes, Vlad entered the battle not concerned with who he mowed down. Undead and dragon kin alike fell to his wild swings as he reveled in the death. With each cleave he could feel himself moving further into the belly of the beast, closer to Marina and to the end of this madness which would ensure his kingdom free reign of Yalanze. What it meant if the dragons were defeated here for everyone else was doom. As he fought across the field a rather high pitched and painful shriek penetrated all noise seeking one man above all.

"SAMAEL!"

[Nergal]

The first bite into a dragon’s throat, and the release of so much of his own people’s blood into his mouth, and Nergal felt a life flow within him again, that he never felt before. The life that now flowed into him would not last forever, this much he knew, but the power from the dragons would power him for the time being. Already, he felt his power magnify by just a bite of a Dragon’s neck. As they fell, they soon died and rose again as servants of Nergal. Soulless, undead beasts that sought to feed on the closest living thing: Their own kin. Nergal had no doubt that many dragons were strong enough to resist the change, and remove their heads before they could fully give in to the hunger, but such losses were insignificant to the amassing army of undead dragons at both Nergal and Vlad’s disposal.

Flying high into the sky, he let out a massive, unnatural roar that shook the dark skies above with lightning. When he looked back down, it was as if Vlad’s divine grace blessed him, for with his dark eyes, he set his sights one of the only people he wanted: Isolde. “Kulaas…” Nergal spoke with a laugh, “Where is your brother, Isolde? You have both been very bad when I was away.” He could have made her into a Lich, but such a fate was too easy for Isolde. No, it had to be worse. Since she was born, nobody had ever broken Isolde. Every Battle Mother, every War Father, anything that had broken other warriors in the Rites would not fall upon her. Of the two siblings, she had so much more to prove. It made sense that Nergal would start with her.

Even now, Nergal had managed to infect enough of the dragons. For every four dragons that were in the Encampment now, one was now a Lich. At best, Vlad would have a small army of Lich under his own command now. Now, it was just a matter of adding salt to the wound now. Once he locked talons with his daughter, he felt her try to force him to the ground, but as he did, Nergal attempted to activate his Psychic Vampirism, allowing him to drain the life force from her body. It would help him drain her will, beat her, and break her. “Is that any way to treat your father?” He asked with a malicious laugh as he struck the ground.

[Ingeras Drăculea]

It did not take Ingeras long to catch up with his father, but he was displeased at which his punctuality presented him. He had spent many days away in Arnul, amassing the damage that had been undertaken due to dragon presence in the area. He was mounting his steed to return to Sylthanis before he had felt a serious disturbance. His mother and sister kidnapped, and his father amassing his Army with Corvin, and an enormous beast. Somehow, he could see what his mother and father saw, and where both herself and his sister was going. Without anymore word, Ingeras took to his horse and rode off in the distance towards Badrul.

Even with his grace, and the supernatural speed of his own horse, Ingeras only arrived just as his father had sent the armies below, along with a black dragon to attack the others. To the distance was Jon, and his own army arriving to attack the dragons. Ingeras glared at Jon with distrustful eyes, knowing that the vampire was only there if this could somehow benefit him. Ingeras could not understand it, but he knew that Jon was ambitious in his own ways, and coveted the throne. Dismounting his horse, he looked over the battlefield and watched as dragons attacked vampires, wraiths, banshees, and ghosts, while also fighting what appeared to be zombified dragons. Ingeras could feel their new, unnatural power and knew that it had to have been something of his father’s doing. Deep down, he did not know if he should be disgusted, or thrilled. Regardless, he charged along, drawing his own sword as he began to try and hone in on his mother and sister. His mother in the distance, and his sister...she was with someone else. Someone that felt both relative to Ingeras and also a threat.

Closing his eyes, Ingeras tried to focus his thoughts to reach his mother. Mother? Mother, where are you? He called out mentally. Turning he looked towards a few vampires from the distance, motioning them to him. “Find Katya,” Ingeras commanded, “I believe an enemy has her. Kill them by any means necessary, and bring her to me.” Turning to gaze at another group of vampires, he looked to the newly positioned ballistas, their readied ammunition engulfed by the flames of darkness. “Man the ballistas, set your sights on any and all enemies. Aid my father by making a path for him.” With that, Ingeras quickly moved past the leagues of tents before making his way towards the center of the battle. In the distance, a rather large man came to the aid of a female dragon, spearing a Lich in the head and ordering her to finish it, while Angelique roamed the Encampment, looking for the queen.

Mother, answer me! Father and I are here for you! He wondered if his mother could hear him, or if she was too weak to respond. Either way, Ingeras knew that he would have to cut his way past every dragon in his way, in order to find her.

Sedaiyus was consumed with ecstasy as he fed and rested. What a marvelous species dragons, not his favorite, but certainly impressive. But when Sedaiyus senses came back down from a high he heard screams and shouts, explosions and clashing, chaos and destruction. His company was gone off to defend the encampment and he was alone in a half smoldering tent. Rolling his eyes and sighing saddened by the new atmosphere he now found himself Sedaiyus realized his was had come to an end. Though troublesome and mischievous Sedaiyus was less destructive than most of his brethren. War was an ugly thing and Sedaiyus hated the ugly. If it prevented his life style Sedaiyus was not a fan. Sedaiyus rose to his feet and more appropriate winter attire manifested on his naked body. Sedaiyus closed his eyes and focused on Katya, with the anti-demon marks compromised and energy coursing through his veins things should be different now. He focused on her energy, it was something specific, like a finger print, Sedaiyus couldn't forget the taste even if he tried. For a moment he caught something and without hesitation he moved shadow jumping to the source. He appeared from the shadows in front of Katya and upon seeing her smiled happily.

His voice softened and sweet despite the battle raging around them, carefree as always, Sedaiyus spoke "What force here or beyond could have ever thought that you would ever be lost to my care for long should know now their error. Awakened to death and terror, destruction and chaos, and amongst the ocean of bodies here you stand before me beautiful and ferocious as ever like a flawless and perfect pearl at the bottom of a raging sea. I don't know why I am ever surprised. Well my darling Empress Katya, I hope being late is not a habit for me as it seems, but I am here now, do you wish to be carried away from this unpleasant squabble or does your heart desire something else?" Sedaiyus looked to her two undead friends she had took control of. He giggled lightly "Your powers are impressive as always love, these fools on both sides have no idea what they face, even your father should be cautious as he delves into powers he knows so little about. You will surpass him so very quickly I will stake my life on it dear." A group of five vampire warriors appeared suddenly but paused upon seeing Katya. "Princess Katya..." Sedaiyus cut them off with an amused grin on his face "Ahhem! Empress Katya"

The vampires looked puzzled but clearly were in a state of urgency "Prince Ingeras has orders for any vampire to secure you from your captors and bring you to the safety of our foothold once freed." Sedaiyus chuckled faintly then a serious face came over him as he played out a part casting an illusion upon them "Right away, of course! Lead me away from this foul place, you will surely be rewarded for my rescue." And with that the vampires lead what they thought to be Katya back to safety though Sedaiyus figured he and Katya would be long gone before they realized they had been tricked. Sedaiyus turned to Katya and smiled "Such loyal subjects you have, at least a bit of fun could come from all this madness. Now where were you, my elegant majesty?" Sedaiyus awaited patiently for Katya to direct them.

[Seth]

Seth gripped his spear tight in his hand, feeling the strength of his ancestors flow through him from the spear itself. It was the final gift Astroth gave him before he went on his journey. He told him that the spear was linked to their ancestors, and that only those sharing their draconic blood could even properly wield the spear’s power. He did not know the extent of help that it would be, magic-wise upon the field, but knew that it would do enough damage to ensure that the Sylthanis hordes lost a substansial amount for a single half-breed. When he looked back at the young Dragoness, he made sure that she was alright, before moving forward. “They’re weak against fire,” he said to her, “set them ablaze.”

Seth charged back into the heart of the Encampment, decapitating, or disabling several Lich, and undead in his path. The Encampment was now a massacre ground, with hundred of soldiers, and civilians fighting against the Undead Horde. While it seemed as if thousands were already turned, many more retaliated by unleashing their dragon fire upon the dragons. Dozens of Air Dragons flew in unison to help spread the flames outward, allowing for more damage. Lich, vampire and ghoul alike shrieked in agony as the dragon flames torched them beyond ash. Yet, as heavy of damage as the dragons were inflicting, Seth saw that the undead hordes were doing equal amounts. Out of the corner of his eye, Seth noticed pale individuals taking retreating civilians and disappearing with them. Seth felt no alarm, and yet felt their auras, deducting that the Ice Dragons were at last helping, saving civilian, and soldier alike.

Seth bolted towards the Great Cavern’s entrance, telekinetically blasting away what ice he could that blocked the way. He noticed nothing else, but who he was driven to find, and as he made his way to the icy enclosure, he felt an invisible presence about him. It was strange, but he felt as if it were inspecting him. Suddenly, the icy enclosure opened, allowing Seth to make his way to the the tunnels. If he was to find Samael, it would be in these caves. He could only hope that he was aware of what dangers were going on above his head. He reached the end of the tunnels before too long, just in time to watch Samael blast himself and what appeared to be a would-be assassin in both directions. Readying his spear and battle axe, Seth ran in between the assassin and Samael.

“My Lord, Vlad is here, and I ask to take your place in your fight against this assassin.” It was rare that a dragon would ask to take over combat for another dragon, but on rare occasions, it was usually during times of war, when the dragon in combat was direly needed. There was no dishonor in this request, and surly Samael saw the opportunity in this request.

Agatha wasn't just going to let the injury stop her, or even slow her down, as much as she could fight that and stop it from happening. Every second, every minute she could keep Samael here and away from Vlad seemed to her like it was the best option, so she would give it all her strength and remaining energy to keep him here as long as she could manage to do. She scrambled up to her feet, finding her defensive posture again, ready for the offensive as well, while hse ignored the wound on her side.

Agatha was more than ready to almost throw herself at Samael, to use the momentum in the small space to get in some rapid attacks with her claws, when all of a sudden the blocked entrance got blown open, causing her to look past Samael for a second, then watch Seth come in and what he said after he got in-between her and Samael. Okay, this was pretty much the entire definition of a huge complication, and she really wondered where this was going to lead. Her fight wasn't with Seth, after all, her own opinion about him right now was that he was just being really misguided, but she could be wrong, and she wouldn't let that get the best of her, so if he was really, truly willing to fight her for Samael, she'd fight her way past him, she had to at the very least wound Samael as best she could.

As she eyed the sword Samael was holding and had used against her, then her eyes switching to Seth and the weapons he grabbed, she slowly changed her position, putting the blade back in it's holster, while still keeping her claws out at the ready. "What the hell do you think you're doing? Helping him? Do you have any idea what will happen if the two of them get to fight out there? At all?!" Agatha asked Seth with a frown on her face, before she pointed at Samael and narrowed her eyes. "I'm not going to let you just run away, this isn't over that easily, so the only reason why I would accept you letting this guy take care of it for you, is if you're scared of what I might be capable of!" She hissed at him, and it was in a good attempt to try and avoid having to fight Seth, if she could avoid it.

“This is why I did not wish to leave. Micah. When I was with him I had some influence but Samael has upset the balance with his misplaced pride.” She called to her son. Seeing him transform she nodded and stepped back, “Be careful, Micah. Katya’s hatred of her father has blinded her to what goodness remains in him. She does not understand what has happened to him. He is being guided by the wrong people but he is still an Angel of the Creator.”

Mari moved quickly then. She could hear Angelique calling to her and the roar of her husband as he tried to make his way to her. He had a weapon and she did not. Still, it was time to step into the fray. As she moved she wished she had something, anything to defend herself with. Use of her powers would weaken her but she had no choice. As she went to summon her angelic bow and arrows she felt something form in her hand blinking she looked down to find a bow and a quiver full of arrows. “Creator be praised.” She murmured as she moved to snatch it up. Looking to her doctor she called, “Stay in here. I shall shield this room so that it will not allow anyone to harm you. With luck we shall both survive this battle. You have served me honorably and I will reward that when I can.” The doctor nodded and quietly wished her luck. He knew that the best way he could help was to stay out of the way and heal the injured when they were brought to him.

Stepping out Mari blessed the tent so that none could enter it with the intent to cause harm. “]Angelique, I am coming but the way is blocked. Please be careful.” So saying she moved forward, her bow and arrow at the ready in case someone tried to attack her. Thus far no one had but she needed to find a way to notify everyone.

“Ingeras. Hear me. I am trying to reach you and your father. Your half brother Micah from my first marriage is trying to protect Katya from her own foolishness. Follow my signal and you will find me. Oh and try not to hurt my doctor. He’s back in the tent and stood up to the dragons most admirably when they threatened me.” She sent telepathically, before she raised an arrow to the sky and then adding a bit of her own power to it sent it soaring.

Once it hit the optimum point in the sky it burst into a star of violet light, her symbol of Mercy that anyone who knew her would recognize. The light from it caused those who had murder in their hearts to step back a moment in pause and gave her the chance to keep moving forward. As long as she could get clear shots she would keep letting them know where she was so that she could work to end this madness.

“Vlad, my love. Hear me. I am coming to you. Please be careful. My son, Micah has returned and he is protecting Katya for me. Please do not be angry with hm. He made sure we were safe and stood up to the dragons along with my doctor.” She felt foolish adding that but she had to get through to him. Focusing she did her best to locate her son and husband. Trying to see who she could reach first. Ideally it would be Vlad but with his challenge to Samael it was doubtful that he could be swayed from battle.

For now Angelique managed to avoid the battle as much as possible, trying to stay in the shadows and move through them as quickly as possible. Not that she wasn't ready for a fight, she had her sword hidden, but within a swift reach if need be, and there was no way she was going down without a fight. She had to get to Mari, it was still bad enough that this had happened, that she wasn't with her. Even with her own survivor instinct, she was the person that was kindest to her, so she wasn't just going to let her die if she had anything to say about it.

As soon as she heard Mari calling back to her, she stopped shortly in her tracks, as she got up more and looked around, taking in the area around her, before shortly looking at the sky and some of the battles being fought there. There was barely any place to be safe, or even close to careful, but the Queen also seemed to know her well enough that she was always careful in a way to preserve her own existence.

She knew that she had defied Vlad in his eyes, although he was seeing things even more unclearly than ever before, and she wasn't going to let that bring anyone else down by waiting for him to actually tell her for once what he expected from her. It wouldn't surprise her if he'd just punish her like any of his pawns, but she wasn't just going to keep standing for being handled like some tool that was only important when he deemed it to be.

"Tell me how to get to you, your Majesty, you should not be out here in this battlefield with no one at your side, you cannot think of holding that out for long." Angelique called back out telepatically to Mari, before she noticed what happened in the sky again, not waiting for a second to get moving again through shadow jumping, to what was hopefully her trying to let them, her, know where she was.

Minerva watched as Seth left her, after they had beaten the Lich, while she felt a little bit lost. She hadn't expected to see her uncle so soon. She was long happy that she didn't treat him any differently than she would with any other person. After a moment of pondering this over, Minerva set off to look for Isolde and find out where she went off to. Looking around, she started flying, making sure to keep out of the way of many other dragond and Liches. She made sure to keep her gaze wide, before she eventually lsnded on the floor, right as a cold shiver ran through her, when she felt Nergal being near. She also sensed Isolde being near him moments later, before she even saw them. She quickly flew up in the sky again, knowing well enough that her aunt would be able to handle herself. It would do no good to mingle in such a fight now, as there was no way for her to win from him and still be able to keep her cover up. She however, had already decided that she would stay close just in case. You never knew what would happen when and as long as she managed to stay hidden, she at least felt like she had something of an advantage. Even when there was no possible way to have the advantage over a dragon such as Nergal. There just was no way.

She however, still had to admit, at least to herseld, that she was a little lost as to who was where, why and how. She didn't even know if anyone was hurt and if so, how badly. As she thought of this, her mind went back to her father, who might or might not be caved in. She knew that he could take care of himself just fine and it could be risky for her to worry about him this much, but she couldn't help it. Ultimately, with one last look in Isolde and Nergal's direction, she decided to check it out and flew back to where the cave in had happened. She simply had to know where he was and if he was alright, as powerful as he might be. She knew very well that if she ever said out loud how much she cared, that it would come with plenty of unnecessary questions and she couldn't afford those questions being asked right now. It would definitely mean stepping on at least a thousand butterflies all at once and stepping on said butterflies would cause an avalanch of problems for her and everyone around her. 

No one would possibly accept the fact that she was Samael's daughter along with the dragon Lidija, most of all, because she didn't think those two got along yet. The person who would believe her least of all, was Isolde, who seemed to be very suspicious of her. Unnecessarily so, but Isolde couldn't possibly know that, as she couldn't just give that away off the bat. It was still tricky though, a little too tricky to her comfort even. She felt confused and even a little trapped as she landed back on the ground, rubbing her arms a little out of a feeling of discomfort. She made sure to keep her body ready for just about anything; if she was attacked, she would know immediately and would react just as quickly. That was something she had been taught well enough; to be ready for anything. Even if she wasn't totally able to get ready for anything, as this was still war and people were still being quite unpredictable as a whole, there was nothing to be done about that now. At least, she could do her best and hoped for the best, as naive as that was for her to think. She should need better, but right now, she could really use a bit of hope, even if it was slight and not at all trustworthy. Anything could happen and that pissed her off quite a bit. Things were never simple, as anyone always had an ulterior motive.

With a sigh, she looked at the cave in and tried looking for Samael, tried sensing him, to no avail. She knew her 'mission' was to mobilize the Auxiliary, even though that was a thought long forgotten, somewhere in the back of her mind. She didn't care about this as much as she cared about ensuring the safety of the people she cared about. It seemed like that was more important than doing as she was told. That had always been the case with her, that she would rather think for herself than blindly follow orders from him or for anyone. Her stubbornness was something that people would find about her soon. She was quickly taken out of her thoughts when she saw Marina inching along. She went her way and frowned. "I am not sure if you should be alone right now, it doesn't seem very safe... Your highness." The 'Your highness' part came as kind of an afterthought, but she thought she conveyed the message well enough. She knew that this woman was no threat to her directly. She just seemed to want to keep others safe and sound. There was no evil in that. At least, not that she could find. After a moment, she stepped closer, towards her, with a questioning look in her eyes, as she tried to keep her posture as uncaring as possible. She couldn't know this woman, she just assumed she was a dragon. That was all she was right now anyway. All that she should be, too. She shouldn't be someone that knew too many things, even if she said to be a Seer. Something that she couldn't keep up forever. People would know soon and that would be a problem for sure.  "Who are you looking for? Maybe I could assist you." She asked her, as she smiled a little, looking friendly.

Angelique still quickly made her way towards where it seemed more and more that Mari was, while still avoiding as many of the battles going on individually on the battle field as she could. As she jumped her way high above some blockage, she ended up on the floor, immediately shadow jumping her way further, until she eventually came to a stop, when her eyes finally found her, and a short moment of relief that she allowed to just fill her mind for a second. She couldn't help though seeing someone else that she didn't recognize at all, making her way to her, but she could just manage to keep herself from going offensive, as she saw and heard that she was actually trying to help her.

She quickly jumped her way through some of the shadows again, then close to Mari. "Your Highness, I've finally found you. I really would have preferred it if you had stayed somewhere more safe than out in the open like this." She told her honestly, before she looked at Minerva, not really sure what to think of her, especially since she didn't know her at all, but her intentions seemed to be good for now. "I don't know who you are... But I would appreciate any help you could give in trying to keep her safe." She told her, on her guard, but still open to the possibility of being helped.

She didn't know how much she could trust her, so she'd keep an eye out, but any increase in their odds and of Mari's continued well-being, the better.
