Gia was born into a family of Pheonix's in Southern Greece. Her family was the head of the supernatural town and everyone knew her name. Gia had quite a knack for pyrotechnics, more then any of her other family members. She could not only control fire itself but could control it's temperature from having ice fire to fire hotter than the sun. Due to her families high standing, Gia learned quickly how to avoid attacks and make them with weapons. Her favourites became a bow and throwing knives.

Gia tended to seperate herself from her family. She found herself to be different to them, to different to ignore. She was stronger then them, faster. She could sense that something bad was going to happen but she couldn't tell what or when. 

One day, when Gia was heading home from high school, she felt a burning pain coming from her back. At first it was bearable but then it intensified to the most unbearable thing she had ever felt. Gia's pain tolerance was high, but not this high. She felt two large objects rip through the back of her shirt and fling to her side. They were two jet black eagle-like wings. Before Gia even had a chance to react, fire spread around her, burning everything in a 50 mile radius to ash. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. 

Gia fled the city, wanting to seek shelter in a city that could handle her power, one that she wouldn't destroy with no one she could hurt. She found a town called Mythregal and rented an apartment there. She wasn't going to destroy this town, not after last time.
