Under A Blue Sky // Micah

It started out as a very interesting few days. First work had been a little crazy, it seemed like maybe there was either a cold or flu going around, which kept her busy at work. Then yesterday Maia had run into a man named Bacchus, which surprised her more then she let on. Maia ran into Bacchus and when she saw he was injuried, she tended to his wound to help get him well. That led to Bacchus asking her some interesting questions, some Maia had answers for and others she didn't know. They went for a while, and then sitting outside just talking, as she tried to explained things to him. A good thing that Maia was able to get the supplies and herbs she needed for work. After that, Maia had to use a back building door exit, to go home, to make sure that nobody would follow her back home.



Now here she was the next day, and trying to puzzle out the events from the day before. But for some odd reason, today for a little different, and she couldn't figure it out. There was something off this morning, and she couldn't put her finger on it. From what Maia could tell so far, the sky was a brightblue and clear with no wind. So what was off and felt strange to her? Maia didn't know. On her way to go shopping, she started to get feeling like she was being followed. Whoever was behind her, it didn't give her a good feeling at all. Maia tried to think of a way, to get rid of her follower.



At the moment, Maia was in a shopping plaza, where the stores were still open, but some were starting to close early. It was still afternoon and not night fall yet. But the more Maia try to walk faster to blend into a crowd, the worse her uneasy feeling grew. So Maia stopped into a shop, and bought a large scarf to cover her head. While she was paying for her item, Maia started a silent prayer, that she could make it home safe. Maia knew her sister could help, or her father, but the question was, would she make it there? Maia walked out, and stopped by a altar where she could light a candle and pray. Maia said a prayer for help, that light would watch over her and to kerp Maia safe on her way home. That she would be okay and could lose whoever it was folliwing her, since Maia didn't want to led them to her home.



Once she was done praying, Maia continued on her way. Maia was so focus on trying to outwalk whoever it was behind her, that she didn't pay attention to anyone who could be in front of her. Just as she walked around a corner is when Maia accidently bumped into someone and almost fell. Looking up, Maia saw she bumped into a tall gentleman with looked like light brown hair. "Oh no. I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to do that, it was a accident. Are you alright?", she asked. Maia felt bad for bumping into the gentleman before her. But as she waited to see if the guy she bumped into was okay, Maia notice her uneasy feeling was starting to go away. Maia hoped that meant her follower was leaving to go somewhere else, she prayed that was the case. But for the time being, Maia had to make sure this gentleman was alright, so she waited to see what he would do next.

Micah wondered how long he had been traveling. It was days now and he barely passed a few wandering merchants. Something was stirring across the lands making people unsettled. People were afraid to travel without having no other choice. A darkness could be felt over the horizon, what it was Micah could not say for sure, but it felt like death and war. Micah hoped he could endure long enough to reunite his family once more. Micah was always the optimist, he saw the good in people where good could be found, and he had a wisdom few his age held. Patience, open mindedness, compassion, and understanding was Micah through and through. You would not find him enraged, rushing in irrationally and hot headed, nor would you see him rushing things of importance.

He learned much under the archangels and made his values and ideals based on their teachings and example. From the moment Micah came to Yalanze he had but one goal, to find his family, but he never ignored the plea of those seeking aid. It may have extended things but Micah would not abandon those in need, he had to defend those worthy of the light, and he had to shine hope that the creator loved all no matter how dark things got. Micah could see off in the distance a town, he could have simply flown instantly where ever he wished to go, but this was more human. Who knows what the wandering road would bring him, what he might overlook if he whooshed away in the blink of an eye, Micah was not hard pressed to go anywhere in a hurry really.

As he drew near he felt something, a light, another angel? He wondered what they were doing here but quickly realized that this light was much dimmer than any class of angel Micah knew. A Nephilim? Micah was unaware of any outside of those that were destroyed in the flood which was before his time. What marvels never ceased on this world. As he honed in on the persons light he heard their prayer. Micah flew to where the person was. As he appeared a woman ran into him. He gestured his arms forward as to catch her if she was to fall, but she was fine, he put his arms at his sides and smiled happily at her. He stuff his hands into his pockets and stood relaxed.

As she apologized Micah scratched the back of his head somewhat embarrassingly and argued polite soft toned "Please, do not apologize, the fault was my own. I am not use to people not being able to sense my presence and tend to appear suddenly unexpected which can startle many." Micah amused with himself as always for making things more awkward than necessary held a big grin as he wondered what inspired a half angel to seek aid outside of their own light. It must have been something powerful and evil to prompt the request. "My name is Micah, I am an angel of heaven, fear not for I will ensure you make it home safely." Micah curiously looked to the girl unsure if she could see his bright wings or not. He knew mortals could not unless he allowed them to but he knew very little of Nephilim. But he never looked down upon something new for him to learn.
