Rebirthing Guidance [Closed to Mari D.]

It had only been a mere few weeks since the young Brunette familiar Autumn Blake had been reborn after what seemed like a millenium since her last death. And even though her life had not been the best so far, losing her family to her own death as a human before being given her so called second chance after she was reborn as a Familiar to fall in love with the son of her Guide Marina Sinclair... Life was far from easy and after making another sacrifice of her own life to save the man she loved, Autumn never could have imagined that after all of these years she would get yet another chance but this time as the familiar to the goddess of Love and Mercy.

Teleporting herself to the place that was known as the Creche after the orders by the higher powers Autumn walked calmly into the large mansion type estate, feeling extremely nervous. Waiting patiently in the entrance way for the arrival of her new guide, the young ancient Brunette had know idea why she had been given another chance or what to even expect yet all her mind could think about was finding him and the only way she would learn his fate was if she managed to cross paths with her old teacher Marina. But only time would be able to tell.

She was still getting her bearings and learning how to function in this new position she held. She’d been practicing basic things like walking and dexterity in this new form. It wasn’t that it was different per sec so much as it pulsed with a new energy that she knew very little about. It took focus and discipline to keep herself from getting overwhelmed. It was a bit like being hit with a new medicine and feeling loopy. She didn’t like it but she understood it. Needless to say the fact that the realm shaped itself to whatever the person inside it wanted she was quite taken aback at it shifting to a mansion.

It would be best if she went to find out who was here. She hoped they wouldn't be trouble. She was too weak to do much. Her form was clothed in a diaphorus pink gown that seemed to glow slightly and accentuated her angel wings. Her hair was braided in a four strand braid with pink ribbons, white ribbons, pearls and rose quarts. She felt a bit overblown but this was her new office so she had better look the part. She was the goddess of love after all. With that thought she made her way to the entrance way and then blinked. Here was a face she had not seen in over two millennia. Back before Earth was used up and spoilt and humans had taken to the stars in search of hope.

She moved slowly so as not to frighten the young woman, “Autumn, is that you?” She asked tentatively as she made her way further in, “Are you alright? It has been a very long time. What happened to you?” Mari’s face shifted from joy to puzzlement and then back to joy again, “It is wonderful to see you again!” she said as she made her way over to the other woman and if permitted hugged her. “I’ve missed you. Oh my goodness we have to tell the others. They think you died a permanent death…” she trailed off as she tried to figure out how to contact her family, “Matthew was devastated. He took off and I’ve not seen him since.” She admitted sadly as she worried about her impulsive son. Shaking off the melancholy she beamed, “But once he knows you’re back he’ll be thrilled!”

Autumn had never had the most easy of starts in her long life so far and that wasn't just her days as a familiar to the Sinclair either. For when she was just a mere human, Autumn had been subjected to countless tortures from her manipulative father who had things to say about her rebellious ways after she discovered she was to marry a man twice her age at just 11 years old. Then of course the violance began and then it would all come to a tragic end for the young women who wanted the world when she was just 23 years old and would lose her life saving her mother and younger brother from a house fire caused by her own father who passed away in the episode.

But that was just her beginning even though it was the end of her first life, for little would she realise but due to her innocent nature and goodness she would be one of those few chosen to be reborn into the world as a guardian for a special angelic family and that was where she had first crossed paths with the Sinclair family, stationed with the angel Marina herself. That was back in the 17th century and just four years after she began her new life she would come to meet her one true love by the name Matthew Alexander who happened to be one of the youngest of the children and working with his father Ian. And from the moment their eyes met they fell for each other but like much in her life a higher purpose would be in place and just three years later the two fated lovers were ripped apart after death happened once more for Autumn just 7 years after her rebirth.

2000 plus years had passed by since she was last alive and waking up in her higher state, Autumn never really was given the opportunity to get answers that she truly desired such as Why she was now alive after all of these years? Who was she going to be stationed with this time? What had happened to the Sinclair family after her death? Were the okay? Had she managed to give Matthew enough time to escape? WAS HE STILL ALIVE? All that she was informed was of a location and told to get changed as she now had a higher purpose. But after both young deaths in her life so far how long would she have on earth this time and would it be the last?

She got herself ready in a lovely light blue coloured bodied lace styled dress. Her hair was down in its natural curls and she wore a set of white heels to match. Autumn was determind to make a good first impression to her new guide and needed to get with modern times considering she had been dead and buried since 1862. Doing as she was told she had arrived at her location and soon enough made her presence known. And soon enough she would be face to face with her new destiny.

Seeing the figure of a women dressed elegantly in a pink dress and her hair tied up in a loose braid, Autumn couldn't help but feel completely stunned as the beauty of the women dazzled her completely as she made her way into the room. It wasn't everyday that a women was thrown into things head first and it was safe to say that Autumn was completely nervous and not yet come to notice who the women ahead of her was. And when she would finally figure it out she wouldn't be the only one freaking out after all how do you handle coming face to face with the person who held you as you lay dying after saving the life of their son sacrifising her own for love.

Then her life was completely thrown upside down as everything fell into place and now knowing that Marina was still alive and well and this was why she had been sent here after all of those years in the abyss of nothing, Autumn needed to sit down before she fell down. Taking a perch on the nearby wall in complete shock her jaw was open hiding nothing at all and when the questions began her mind was spirilling over and over not being able to focus at all on anything but what stood in front of her. "Mari please this is too much for me to handle right now, can i at least breath and get my head around this? Its been 2300 years for goodness sake since i was last here at all never mind seeing all of you. Please Mari i need to breath" Autumn spoke breathless trying to get head around everything as much as she could but struggling.

Autumn's statement made Mari take a step back, quietly she blinked and nodded gently as she sat down on a nearby bench. There was as much confusion here as for her as there was for Autumn but Mari tended to speak when she was trying to process her surroundings rather than go the silent route, "As you wish, Autumn." It was said kindly but Mari found herself at a loss as to what she should do or say.

Angels were always on the move. Always doing something. There simply was too much to be done to dawdle and ruminate silently. She could understand why it would take someone time to find themselves again but she'd never had the luxury of the time to think on it. Absently she paced, wishing she knew why Autumn was even here. Autumn had been her familiar but had sacrificed herself for Matthew in the end. It confused Mari as much as anything because such things usually happened between familiars and those they were supposed to help. It would have been easier if Autumn had been Matthew's from the start.

All of this passed through her mind as she waited for the other woman to figure out what she needed to do. The Creche was cut off from most things so it would be no small surprise to see Autumn struggle. As soon as she got her bearings she would need to go down to the planet. This was just a stopping point really and even Mari didn't stay in this area long.

Sighing she moved over to a water pitcher and some glasses. She'd gotten somewhat good at conjuring things here and it gave her something to do as she poured the pure liquid into the crystal glass. She didn't need to drink or even eat really but it gave her something to do with her hands till Autumn was able to formulate why she was here and what she wanted.

It had been over two whole milleniums since the sacrifise that Autum had done to protect the man she had fallen in love with back as her first state as a familiar causing her to seise living and moving to purgatory for the rest of the time well 2300 years to be exact but who was counting? Autumn certainly was counting the time away from her beloved Matthew to the day she would be destined to meet him once more in death if an Angel could die, never in a million years had Autumn imagined waking up in a state of reality nevermind to be faced with the fact she was once again the familiar to the mother of her one true love. It was all to much for her ancient mind to comprehend right now if ever. That much the young brunette wasn't completely sure of at that present moment in time.

It was far too soon to see anyone let alone Matthew because even though from her deathly plane she had been able to watch over his destructive streak of alcoholism that he had embarked on shortly after her untimely death, the fact that she was unable to take him in her arms and tell him that she was okay and safe and that he needed to look after himself pained her deep within watching him fall apart at a distance unable to do or say anything to make his pain and longing for her ease. A large part of her had wished that he would have just stumbled across someone new along his travels that he would fall for and start a life for but now she was back to the land of living she was indeed pleased that eventually they may get their second chance at love.

Holding her head in her hands as tears of longing and confusion lingered in her eyes, at that very moment Autumn did not honestly understand how she would ever be able to stop the tears from flowing if they indeed did start which moments later they did as she sobbed silently to herself almost forgetting that Mari herself was in the room. Autumn would hate to be classed as a soft touch because she certaily was anything but soft in nature even as a mere human she had always had a hard shell to the outside world she was merely a woman in love and in a sure state of confusion.

Looking back on her past it seemed to all be a complete blur at that moment in time bar the fact of the haunting memories that plagued her every thought and that was she needed to find Matthew and quick before he attempted anything else that was extremely stupid to join her in the now former after life. She needed to tell him that she was alright and always had been keeping hold of the memories that they had shared together over there delicate years and show him that she was here beside him in person now no longer a spirit. All she dreamed was that she could make his pain go away once and for all. "Where is he Mari? I need to see him before i lose him once and for all!" she blurted out trying to keep details of what she had seen over the past millenium to a bare minimum to avoid pain for her assigned guide.

It was obvious that Autumn was having a difficult time adjusting to the situation at hand. Her tears, and snappishness was proof alone of that. Truthfully Mari had expected such. One did not spend two thousand plus years away from the planet without some issues of transitioning to a solid form. The human like form could be maddening with it's intense urges and emotions. Many angels fell because they were too caught up in the physical nature of the world they guarded.

Add to the fact that Autumn had protected Matthew instead of the person she was sent to look after and you had a complicated mess. Mari was greatful that Matthew didn't die that day but because Autumn had ignored her charge for another she hadn't been allowed to return immediately. The more caught up in the world and less in ones duties a familiar or angel became the less likely they would be allowed physicality.

To Autumn's question Mari blinked, "Matthew abandoned all of us when you died. I know he is on the planet but I am uncertain what he is doing. I have been unable to contact him and with Ian dying and not returning its been difficult to track his whereabouts." Autumn may be anxious about Matthew but as far as Mari knew Ian had died permanently. She still grieved her first husband and due to the situation with Vlad had never dared voice her feelings of sorrow. It was not politically astute and might be seen as a betrayal of Vlad and so she mourned silently after they had married.

Standing there, Mari felt completely alone. Autumn was caught up in her own trauma. Mari's daughter had been slaughtered and in theory was in heaven, her current husband was bent on bloodshed and her son Ingeras was his right hand in the dealing of his rage.

Not knowing what to do Mari turned away, "You did not come back to assist me. You'd have been better served being Matthew's familiar. You should go to the planet and find him. I am sure your presence will do more than anything mine could. I don't think he even knows his father died or what happened to me afterwards." She shrugged and stared at the floor, closing her eyes and feeling old. She was the goddess of love and yet all the words around her were anything but kind towards her. It weakened and tired her out. "Go, Autumn. I do not know why you came here of all places but it wasn't for me. No doubt seeing you will cheer up, Matthew."
