Long before the many races that inhabited Yalanze settled their differences and built their kingdoms there was one man who stepped up to save them all. Lucius was a man from the planet Earth, one of the original human settlers of Yalanze who fought against the demons and undead. Upon arriving, Lucius alone dared explore this dangerous world in search of the power to help his people find a place here among the harsh environments and the other hostile species that preyed upon them. His prayers were answered in the form of the Celestials who also escaped their home worlds destruction, they lead him to a power called "The Creche" which held mystical items charged with the very essence of Yalanzian magic. Taking up the "Storm Blade" he became the keeper of this wondrous realm.

With the help of the Celestials he was able to fight the demons back to their realm, banish the dead to Sylthanus and make the surface world safe for the others. After all of this Lucius disappeared along side of the Celestials, content to become nothing more than a myth until the time for his return was near. Once the world was at peace they had no need for godly magics or temptations in the form of that kind of power. His face and name have long since been forgotten by those involved, even the newer Celestials who cross into the physical world of Yalanze.
