This was his favorite part of his day, watching his wife sing to the patrons tonight. They piled in every night to watch her sing, a golden siren beckoning them to listen. She sang songs of home, songs of humanity. Something he thought he had long forgotten. It had been over 400 years since he was human, he missed the simple things. Sunlight, warm breezes, church, all things which were now a dream and nothing more. She came and stood in front of everyone, feeling demure and they were eating it up. If his heart could beat it would be racing as well. He could hear the hearts of the men speeding up when they saw her. His golden goddess, his one true love. The only woman who loved him completely for the man behind the curse. He was not born a vampire, he was a man once. He had earned a name for himself, as a soldier. The fact that he had stayed true to the Brigade had only magnified his reputation. Causing more fear to stir into the hearts of his enemies. He had amazing self control and that created even more of a reputation. No one would dare go near his wife, they were only allowed to watch.

He couldn't help it, after being around for over 450 years he had learnt what was important and the only thing that made this life worth living was the fact that he had someone to share it with. He would do anything to protect Caerra. He did not know what would happen if something ill had befallen her, they had been together for over 100 years. Something like that was not to be taken lightly.

Every time Caerra stepped onto this stage she always searched the sea of men for one particular male. And that male was her mate for life, that male was her husband Gael. The moment her eyes meet his it was as if the rest of the men in the room fade away and it was just the two of them. Every time she sang she always sang songs about there love, or songs about home or several different things. Some times she would write songs and sing them other times she would just sing songs that she remembered. But the one thing she loved about having Gael in the audience not only did she always put her best foot forward but the men in the audience new that they were never allowed to touch her when her husband was any where around. If they did they new first he would ask polity for them to remove there hands from her body, if they didn't he would in fact kill them where they stand. She had already sung three songs tonight and this would be her last for tonight. Allowing her eyes to roam over her husband for a moment. She brushes her long blonde hair from her face, she glides her tongue over her lips before she begins to speak.

"Good evening everyone thank you all for coming out tonight, this is the last set for tonight and I hope you all enjoy this one."

The music soon starts up and she glances down for a moment, she slowly sways to the music and closes her eyes for a moment. Before she glances back up towards the crowd and looks over toward Gael before she begins to sing while all eyes are on her.

She glances down once more this song held a lot of meaning to her, especially when Gael had turned her into a vampire. He had helped her so much and taught her so much about her new life and what she needed to do to stay alive. And each and every day that she was with him and the more he taught her made her fall even more in love with him if that was even possible.

The song continues to play and she continues to sing, charming everyone in the room including her husband who was watching his wife with his vampire eyes. She loved him so very much and it showed every time she was in his arms. Every time she worried about him when he went out for battle, every time she song these songs paying homoage to there love or things that he has done for her or for there love.  Once the song ends, the crowd goes wild and she takes a bow, she smiles a bit before she the crowd parts and she makes her way towards her hands husband. Once she reaches him, she takes a seat on his lap before she glides her fingers down his cheek as she speaks.

"Hey handsome was my performance to your liking tonight."

He watched with amazement at something that had never ceased to do so in over 450 years and that was watch his wife sing to him. The patrons of the bar liked to believ ethat it was for them but the truth was, that she was just that good of a performer. He knew that with every note played and eveyr lyric sang that it was all for him and he enjoyed every single moment of it. Her golden locks shone as she did this, her brown beautiful eyes watching him as he sat in silence appreciating it all. Some found it odd that a vampire was married for one, and not feeding on humans. These were not normal traits but he never did consider himself a vampire. He didnt start out as one, when he was around Caerra he felt like a man again. Not the monster eveyrone thought he was. Though the traits had served him well in battle many times.

The song had ended and she had made her way over to him. He smirked as she took a seat on his lap, her hand caressing the curves on his face. "It was amazing as always" He gave her a kiss and held her there close to him, his favorite place for her to exist. She made what this life was worth living. Sometimes he regretted turning her but there were days like this, when he thought about how he would have lost her long ago that he was grateful their love would be eternal.

"Obviously they thought so too, it is so easy to fool them to make them believe that everything is for them. But the only person I see when I sing.."

She glances down for a moment before she looks back up at him she allows her eyes to search his for a moment. Before a small smile graces her lips as she begins to speak in a soft sweet voice after her tongue glides over her lips.

"Is you and it will always be you."

Before she was turned and before she met Gael she never thought that she would find love. She never thought that any man would ever want her, but now that she has experienced this type of love. She never wants to lose it and if she ever lost Gael, death might as well take her as well because there is no way she could ever live with him. He is her heart, he is her everything, he is what keeps her going and she knows he feels the same way.

"So whats on the agenda for tonight after were done here?"

In all of the years that they had been together, every day felt fresh and new.There were any reasons why he and Caerra just worked. From the moment he met her he knew that she was going to be something special to him. Their eyes locked and the rest was history. She stood by him in every endeavour and he would stand at her side in this. Though he did not relish the idea of other men ogling his wife, they knew who her husband was and his skill with a sword. The vampire part was just a bonus.

He smiled when she said that it would always be him, he never doubted that. There were not many couples who could say things like this with absolute certainty but they could.The poets and writers told stories of love, and all of them boring compared to how he felt for his wife. She then asked him what they would do with the remainder of their night. He grinned and gave her a wink and raised his eyebrows a few times."Well that depends, when was the last time you fed? if its been a while we should go hunt"

"I wont lie my love it has been a while, I was waiting for you so that we could hunt together tonight. Sometimes its fun to hunt on my own but I love hunting with you we always have fun when we hunt together. Not to mention I think you love watching me use my powers of seduction to real in my meal and sometimes yours as well."

She says those words before she leans in and brushes her soft sweet lips over his, the kiss continues for a couple of moments. Before it slowly breaks off and she rests her forehead gently against his, she glides her fingers slowly down his cheek while they savor this moment.  She soon lifts her head and allows her eyes to meet his and a small smirk graces her lips before she speaks.

"We can go ahead and go if you want too, if the crowd gets antsy i'm sure someone else will fill the void of me not being here. And after we satisfy our hunger, how about we head home and satisfy each other needs. I know your hungry Gael and it isn't just for blood."

She gives him a litte smirk before she seductively climbs off his lap, leaning over him she picks up her jacket and slips it on before running her hand under her long blonde hair. Once its free from the collar it falls gently and gracefully down her back in soft waves.  She looks over towards the man who captured her heart all of those years ago, holding out her hand for him to take, a shiver courses down her spine when she feels him take her hand.  Before she grins at him and they begin to make there way through the crowd ready for the thrill of the hunt, and the rush of the warm blood when there fangs puncture their pray.
