Lich
There are few things that are truly more terrifying than a lich. Born out of the rage of Death and demonic magic, lich are an entirely different type of undead beast altogether. They're a shadow of their former selves in the form of a ferocious monstrosity of demonic, vampiric, and draconic traits. Because of their draconic traits, those that become Lich, were they not dragons beforehand, take on reptilian features, and take on a decayed dragon form with demonic features. With their vampiric traits, their bodies are dead, yet function like living bodies. Because of their vampiric traits, they need to feed to survive, but due to the other traits, they often feed on entire bodies of any unfortunate prey they come across. They're constantly hungry, and unless they feed, they grow weak rapidly and decay until nothing is left. Blood is the base substance needed to sustain them, but they can only fully survive if they feed on most of a victim. The Lich King, and those that were either turned by him, or are close to his sire line, are often capable of controlling the hunger. Younger Lich need training to sustain themselves. The final traits, the demonic traits, show up in their draconic forms, and in their capabilities to perform dark, draconic magics. This however, is also their greatest weakness, due to both the demonic and vampire weaknesses inhabited within them. Lich are weak in sunlight, and holy magic cripples them severely. The same is said for holy objects, and powerful angelic weapons can permanently kill a Lich.
Powers
- Hellfire -The ability to summon the fires of the Abyss. These fires can damage angelic and good beings and can scorch the soul of those whom it touches.
- Draconic Necromancy -The ability to raise the dead to serve him as mindless, undead minion. Although the power is limited to resurrecting just the body and not the soul, it has the added benefit of allowing Lich to turn other dragons into Lich Dragons like Themselves.
- Undeath - Lich are a form of undead cannot be killed by conventional means. They do not age, but their body will decay if they does not regularly feed on the life force of others. Due to this undeath, they is constantly hungry, even after they have fed, which is only satiated as he feeds
- Lich Venom- A Lich's black blood is incredibly toxic and venomous. Not only are their fangs in his draconic form coated in it, but skin contact with their blood causes instant necrosis, and potential, temporary paralysis that can last between an hour to a day depending on how much made skin contact. Applying Lich blood to a dead body will turn it into a ravenous zombie until the Lich Venom devours its host from the inside out. Lich Venom is also fatal if it hits the bloodstream, killing a host in a manner of hours if healing is not applied. Those that die from Lich Venom in their bloodstream also tend to rise again as feral zombies hours later, but the blood burns through them faster in these cases.
- Shifting (To human and back) - The ability to shift into an undead draconic form this form can be different depending on the base race of the person infected.
- Psychic Vampirism - The ability to feed off another's emotions and turn them into thoughts of sorrow, despair, depression and abject sadness. Lich use this to convince their victims to turn into what they themselves are.
- Flight - Some Lich will have the ability to fly depending on their base racial type.
- Telekenesis - The ability to summon items to oneself using the mind.
- Spellweaving - The ability to use magic (although with a lich it is usually twisted in nature).
