Corvin was a man of his word. When a client comes to him, requesting something from Corvin, it is his obligation to ensure that the client gets what they want. How they paid Corvin back was up to discussion. Some paid with money, but others paid through other means. Sometimes through favors. Even fellow demons were welcome to bargain with Corvin. Bacchus Lilith Himeros was one such demon. One that had already put forth effort in finding a particular set of bones that Corvin needed for a future meeting with Lord Vlad. However, in exchange for the bones, and to deliver the bones, Corvin needed to assist Bacchus in an affair of his own. It seemed that even demonic brothers had bonds of their own, and Bacchus’ bond with his own brother seemed to be no different. Corvin did not ask, nor care why Bacchus was after his brother, Sed, but Corvin still could not help but pay attention to certain aspects of the demon’s behavior. Although he never mentioned it outright to Bacchus. Corvin was more concerned with the business transaction, than his client’s sibling rivalry. It did not take Corvin long to find Bacchus’ brother. No matter how deep someone tried to bury themselves, Corvin always had people to uncover the dirt. Always.
He needed to get close to Sed though, and he needed to get the demon’s attention. There was much research on the demon that needed to have been done, but Corvin was none the less confident that he could help Bacchus when the demon finally beckoned on Corvin. He had Bacchus stay the distance and keep an eye on the Brothel that Corvin tracked Sed to. Word was that he managed to talk the owner into allowing him to stay there temporarily, so they waited until he had been out for a while and was heading back. Leading Leann near the entrance of the Brothel, Corvin waited until their target was in sight, so that he could take charge to capture him.
“Leann, I know I lie a lot, but trust me when I say that this is going to hurt,” Corvin said as he launched a slap Leann’s way to knock her down. She knew the rouse and was ready for it, but Corvin needed to time it precisely, so he never told her when he would strike her. Turning to face her, he raised his cane in the air with the intention of beating her with it. “Try an’ mug me, will you?” Corvin said, trying to add some tension to the scene that he was causing in the street for the sake of one person.
