History:
Athena was forged from the flames of a volcano on the Dragon's home planet. Her Creator Kristine wanted someone to keep her eggs company while she was out of the nest. And for the first forty years of Athena's life things went that way for her, and she didn't seem to mind till Kristine required her to move to Yalanz. This was a major turning point in Athena's life. Her "mother" let her go out of the nest to the outside world finally. It was the first time that she ever met outsiders. It was also the first time she met others like herself. It changed her view of the world. She never returned to her mother and entered the world.

After her first hundred years she figured out how to shift into her more human shape with the help of another phoenix that was forged like her, and when she saw herself the first time she realized something extremely important. She was gorgeous. And after met her first human (read witch) child her world changed again. He was so small and precious that she wanted to care for it, till another twenty years later, when the human was ready for its own family she caught an image of herself in the mirror. She had wrinkles and grey's in hair (Not really she was looking at his mother, but it still scared her half to death)! Her beautiful face was falling apart! Even if he wanted her, she wouldn't stay the way she was. How could she stand looking at that face for the rest of his natural life?

She reverted back to her old form to not live as an ugly human again. But only a century later the same family that she'd grown so attached to came back into her life. And so she returned, returned to her human form as it was as when she was new to the whole turn of human life and lived only a short time as a human to help the family.

And so the last millenium went forward. She would turn into a youth human and take care of her family, then go back. But only once for ten years with a twenty year break in between. She has turned back now for kicks and giggles and not much else. She doesn't care who or what is going on, she just wants to look pretty.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE

Roleplay Sample: 800 years ago:
She was looking at her reflection is the glass mirror infront of her patting her hair to make sure it was high enough. She felt him come up behind her and kiss her on the neck and chuckled. "My dear. I've done everything I can for you." Athena turned and looked at him. She placed a finger on his lips. "Shush, shh. Soon I won't be this woman anymore, this woman you think you love. You'll move on, your kind always does." She walked around him and pulled on her blouse.

Athena walked to the door and looked back. "Goodbye. Call me back if you ever need me." And with that she left. Out of his life and back onto the streets. She sauced by windows of sales every so often stoping to make sure her profile and hair were still perfect. This continued until she passed an inn. Suddenly her stomach lurched. She bolted to the side of the restaurant and began retching. Eventually her stomach settled and she calmed down.

"What in the name was that?" She over heard people muttering about her being drunk. That wasn't the case, she hadn't had anything to eat or drink that night... She placed her hand on her stomach. What was that? She stood up shaking slightly. She continued on home without incident.

But, when Athena walked into the residence along the Firegorge Mountain the smoke made her sick again. She became worried then. What was happening to her body? Eventually she stopped and leaned against the warm wall of her residence and put her hand on her stomach... She looked down. Her family, when the girls would get married and have children the children came from there didn't they? Oh this was not going to be good... Not good at all...
