Hometown: The town of New Antioch
History: Jonothan was born in the small village of Blacksword’s Edge, where his father was the ruler of the village by fear, torture and brutality. Jonothan never knew anything else than all this killing, pain and manipulation of the weaker by the ones that made themselves to be strong enough. Together with his older brother Jackson and his younger sister Ashley he was taught the “values” and “code” of the family, laid down solely by their father who was thinking of himself as a more important man every day, making him more and more unstable with it as well. One night, his father went drinking at the local bar,, then killing everyone inside when they made the mistake of suggesting he might have had enough.
When Jonothan, Jackson and Ashley found out, they seemed to be in agreement that it had been enough, with all his talk of power and control, they still lived in a small town, suffering under their fathers selfish mistakes, so they made a plan together. Yet when it came down to it and they were ye to eye with him, Jackson betrayed them and attacked Jonothan at his father’s command, while Ashley kept at a distance, not knowing what to do. In the fight and even trying to convince his brother that he wasn’t going to hurt him and especially kill him, that they were in this together, Jackson didn’t give Jonothan any choice but to kill him after Jon managed to disarm him of his sword and yet he still came charging at him.
After that, even drunk with over half the alcohol supply of the bar in him, his father Adrian still gave up one Hell of a fight after he saw what happened to Jackson, but Jonothan did manage to use his own even stronger rage against him, and after what for him seemed like a short battle, he killed his father too, leaving only his sister. Ashley had no idea what to do, but Jonothan told her that he had a plan, that he would follow the ways of their family, only better, that they wouldn’t stay in this dump, that they would find power, control, that he had a plan for this. Yet she didn’t want to go along with it, she told him that she couldn’t, that she needed time, alone but that if he thought it necessary to kill her, that hse knew she probably wouldn’t be able to stop him. Then, as the last selfless and a bit caring act that Jonothan ever did from then on, was that he let her go, told her that if she ever reconsidered, she could come back. Then he set out on his ambitious plans of conquest, but knowing that he would have to maintain a certain calm, but perhaps even mostly, patience something that eventually soon enough already go him in control of the council and his own personal small force of soldiers and more basic fighters. Yet he’s still convinced that he’s on track for his plans, and can now only focus more on going after Mari, while also finding out what she truly is.
