Adele was born in the City hospital of Mythregal as the second child and oldest daughter to Eliza and Tobias. Adele doesn’t remember anything from earth and grew up with a stern father, who worked with the Brigade and a loving mother. Her older brother Bryan was adventurous of spirit and always went out to look for dragons and werewolves and vampires, often coming back home with a new scratch or scar or burn. This forced Adele to learn medicine at a fairly young age, she was seven to be precise, while Bryan was already fifteen. She always took care of Bryan’s wounds, because he didn’t want their parents to find out and Adele did it out of love, even though she often realized that their parents should know, or the hospital should know.

When Adele was eight, she saw her sister, who was three at the time, being abducted by demons, while her father was working, her mother was asleep and her brother was in the mountains. When her family heard what happened, they knew they wouldn’t get Lydia back, so they agreed to tell everyone that Lydia had been adopted by another family, because they needed money, while her parents kept looking for little Lydia and keeping it quiet in the meantime, while they quietly blamed Adele for not taking proper care of her sister.

When Adele grew up, this blame had grown into loathing and to give her parents some peace, she joined the Brigade and started living with them, to rarely ever be seen in town. Not even her father, who by then was nearing his pension was someone she’d meet. She soon climbed up the ladder, becoming one of the leaders, when she was only twenty-three years old. This was a status she wasn’t very proud of, as she always wanted to be a nurse or a doctor, but she accepted it anyhow to prove to herself that she wasn’t useless.

She has since given up her dreams of working in a hospital, feeling like she is needed more where she is at right now. She likes give people a purpose in the one place she has found one herself. She is still looking for what happened to her family, though she still hasn’t found an answer and has sort of given up on ever getting one. It’s still in the back of her mind, but she’s no longer obsessed with finding out what happened.
