History: Lucian Adam Renault was born in the vamperic lands of Slythansis, He and his Brother were born to first generation vampire's. They were apart of the palace Guard, His father adolfus was a member of the vampire high council and was the kings personal body guard. His elder brother Alaneo was always thought to be the the heir to his father's position, Alaneo was ten years older than Lucian the boys were inseparable always at each others side when the time called for it.
Lucian knew his brother was destined for his fathers position, at this point lucian was about sixteen and learning how to use his power's. Alaneo was around 26 and falling in love with a young witch by the name of Marcy. They fell so deeply in love and he was arranged to marry her, the ceremony was to be a grandous one with both family's in attendance. Lucian was the best man, and his father and mother were so proud of him when it came time for his speech.
The reception was a brilliant affair, But then the accident happened Lucian got into an argument with Marcy and she fell down the stairs. She died on impact, and little did either of them know she was pregnant with alaneo's baby. The secret was coverd up by the family and has never been spoke of since. Lucian felt awful but the worst was yet to come his brother was brutally murdered by marcy's family.
The whole family was in revolt, amidst all of this fighting Lucian found his own love a human girl with whom he had shared many days.Her name was Clara and for a time they were best friends until they both found they had feelings for one another. Lucian unlike his brother had less self control and eventually turned her by accident.
He tried to keep it a secret from his family, but her bloodlust knew no bounds. She killed a lot of people and his family had to kill her to save them selves the worry and embarrassment.From that day forward lucian was the black sheep of the family, he was shunned for a long time.
It wasent until his father had arranged for his marrige to Rinae, He practically fell for her the moment he saw her.Soon after she became pregnant and his father and mother were over the moon, however the true lineage of the child is a question that can be found on a lot of peoples lips, from both sides of the court. Lucian dosent really care, she is his regardless of lineage he raised her there for she is a Renault end of story.
Lucian Now lives with his family protecting the king and always protecting his family, His mother and father are proud of there son for following what they deem as his destiny and are even more proud of him for raising his little girl to the best of his ability.

Roleplay Sample: Lucian was sat at his desk in his office, which was located in the east wing of his expansive house. He had taken a break from the hustle and bustle of the party happening down stairs, sometimes to many people all at once left him needing a bit of air, His wife would see to the guests whilst he took his leave that much he was confident of.
Walking over to the window in his office, He looked out at his vast land, but something dident quite sit right with the vampire something was ticking over in his brain.He began to pace a little, a sure sign he was stressed and or over thinking. He had a drink of wine in his hands as he placed his hand over his heart, that never beat. That was what he was missing really, the feeling of being human which was so alien to him at times.
He herd footsteps coming up the stairs he straightened him self up “Darling the party is wondering where you are” his wife spoke in a soft voice “I'll be there soon my moon and stars”he spoke to his wife as he walked over and placed a small chaste kiss on her forhead “I love you”he said as he kissed her cheek also and followed her out of the room and back to the party.
