Asher is one of the most pious men in the city. He is also one of the most stern when it comes to relations with the other races. Believing that Yalanzens were sent to the planet for a higher purpose he has no problems hiring Brigade members to hunt other races on the side for his gain. He even threatened his own brother Duncan with death after Duncan was bitten by a werewolf. He is also responsible for the death of Merry's family and wants her power for himself.

Luna works with the other races to make sure that the peace is maintained between the dragons and the other races of the world. Serious to a fault Simone doesn't have much of a sense of humor and the burden of her office weighs heavily on her at all times. She fears loosing her heart to someone of another race so she tends to keep her distance emotionally even though she is very lonely.

Mari is Vlad's wife and loves him in spite of everything he has done to her. Recently killed while protecting her husband she was reborn as the Goddess of Love and Mercy.

Vlad Drăculea, having come from old earth, is a strong and resilient being. After being granted the power of the "Mantle of Death" he saw an opportunity to form a kingdom he had once lost on earth. Consolidating his power, he turned Sylthanus into the seat of power for the undead and created a kingdom of vampires. In order to keep some of his other enemies at bay he even managed to capture and bind an angel whom he later named his queen. With her blood he and magic he was able to increase his power and produce a creature powerful enough to be named his heir.

Gizelle would seem like a mild mannered woman if it wasn't for the fact she is a demon and she lives to watch Yalanzens and anyone else she can suffer. Gizelle would appear to be a mild mannered pharmacist but the reality is that secretly she is poisoning people by opening them up to demons via her medicines. Gizelle hopes for another plague to release more of her brethren on the planet.
