With the wind blowing against her from her position on top of the royal palace, Angelique let her eyes wander over the scenery as she just wanted to enjoy her moment of rest for a moment now that she had it and before that Jon would arrive, which she knew would be soon. Dameon had gotten enough of chances, with her even working in his castle, with his family, but the guy just didn't care about anyone but himself, a trait she unfortunately had the same, but she was made into this, Dameon choose to be this, and he did a piss poor job at it if you asked her. The situation in the castle had gone downward fast after a visitor from the Brigade had come by, a member that was very suspicious, because which low life messenger would have the guys to speak up against the so called King? Even if having the orders to do so, but the revelation about Katia and mostly Mari, had actually given her more clarity and certainty of what she already thought.
Jon hadn't been happy at all when he heard that his sword had been involved, especially because the way she heard it, Jon knew exactly who to think of to blame for taking it in the first place and who the mystery stranger had been. But what did the most renowned assassin have to do visiting the Queen? It just didn't sit right with her, but that's why Jon had also quickly noticed that Angelique was getting impatient, she couldn't keep sitting still for too much longer, she had already been waiting centuries, and you'd say that a little longer wouldn't hurt, but since that night it was very tempting to not let that get to her. The wind calmed her down, also because it reminded her of herself and her current predicament, or mostly Dameon's in her opinion, because without him even considering the possibility, if only he knew that he was actually in the calm before the storm, her storm.
'Nice view you looking at love, but you might come to greet me like a good little governess.'[/i] Angelique heard Jon's voice as he obviously looked through her eyes for a moment to see what she was looking at, which made her roll her eyes as she did more often when he did talk to her, but eventually quickly at high speed innocently made her way down again, where she quickly enough came to the door, just timing it right that it seemed like she had heard the announcement of a visitor. When at the door, she opened it and bowed innocently for anyone that saw. 'Duke, come in, you must be here for the Queen.' She said innocently, just barely managing from grinning, before turning around and heading in front of him toward the gardens where Mari should be. 'My Queen, Duke Radcliffe is here for you, is this a good time?'[/i] She asked respectfully and expressly smiling at Mari once she saw her as Jon kept a bit of distance behind her for now in his respective role.
