It had been this way for a year or two now, during the day she would sneak off so that her father would not notice. Out over the gates, into the petrified forest, and down into the old dungeons that they used to use before the completion of the castle. The climb down was treacherous, at least the way that she took, that way if anyone followed her they would most likely fall to their doom. As she made her way down the twisting corridors, the sounds of moaning and shambling grew louder and louder. They always sensed her coming, though it was most likely because they wished to eat her.
Coming to a dead stop in front of a set of bars shrouded in darkness, it took only moments before several pairs of hands shot out. The struggled against the bars, gnashing their teeth, angry that their food was out of reach. A smile spread across Katia's face, showing just how twisted this young woman was becoming living her in the castle. She saw them as her own family, her children, as she felt that no vampire would ever find her desirable. Such a young girl, already worried about her future.
"Now now, Victor, if you calm down mommy has a surprise for you.." she said softly. Singing to them loudly, she moved into the shadows for a moment, only to return holding a body with a bag over it's head. She was feeding them, growing her family for the day that she felt they would be big enough. For what? She had no idea, perhaps she would use them to take over another species, to become a Queen in her own right, make her father proud. The problem was she couldn't figure out how to tame them, they never seemed satisfied.
How had her father taken these mindless beings and turned them into what they were now? "You are, what you eat!" she sang loudly, tossing the girl into a pit. Once the body hit the ground, it started to move, she was coming to. "Wakey wakey, sleepy head. You cannot play my game if you are sleeping on the job." she said, laughing softly as the woman started to scream. "Survive, do so and I will grant you the ultimate gift.." she said softly, soothingly. Then with a bit of a show of strength, she pulled a lever and released them.
Thus the games began again as the Zombies shuffled out, chasing the woman who had only just managed to pull the bag off of her head. There was a series of tunnels she could use to outsmart the hungry dead, but would she figure this out in time?! The evil side of her had been carefully nurtured and it showed.
