Let Justice Be Done This Day

When Yalanzens first arrived on the planet little did they know that their guardian angels followed them. Thinking themselves free of the burdens of Earth they had the graciousness to notice that they took their blessings with them. Many Yalanzens felt the comfort of their guardians throughout the centuries and poems and literature exist on the planet to this day.

For their part, Angels just knew that the creator sent them with their charges because no matter how far from earth a human may travel he is never out of his guardians sight. At first, Angels hung back and watched as their charges shaped the world to suit them but as the demons began to manifest so too did the angels begin appearing on the planet.

For many years angels and demons have fought over the souls of Yalanzens and indeed even over the souls of the other races for all was seen as acceptable in the creators eyes and humans although blessed, were not the only beings for whom life beat. Most beings that can see angels acknowledge their presence as benevolent and to see one is to know that the heavens are watching. This does not sit well with some but it isn't as if they have much room to complain. Angels act as the final judge and have the power to over throw the ruler of a realm if they see fit as they can overpower a god-king/queen when they gather in force.

An angel can take human form and many do while on Yalanze. Their reasons for being on the planet are as varied as they themselves are. Thus their powers tend to manifest in ways that suit their nature and being. An angel has all he or she will ever need if they have the courage to look within themselves to find it. While in a human form an Angel can mix with any race upon Yalanze as if they were able to adapt their make up to mesh with any species DNA.

Basic Angelic Powers:

• Flight - The Angels of Yalanze have the ability to defy gravity through the use of feathered wings. Said wings are invisible unless the Angel chooses to make them visible. An Angels flight ability also doubles as teleportation on Yalanze so long as they destination they are jumping to is not warded.
• Healing - As the name suggests, the Angels can heal any wound or injury so long as their creator wills it so.
• Exorcism - This power allows an Angel to extract a Demon out of a human host. However in doing so they summon the Demon to their plane in all of it's power.
• Sensing - Angels have the power to sense the presence of living beings as well as being able to sense when their name is being used. When their name is called they can answer the summons and appear to whomever used their name.
• Immortality - An Angel is an ageless creature and thus shall live forever and show no visible signs of age. They are also mostly impervious to most forms of harm except unholy rituals, demons, and magical warding unless one removes their wings. Once their wings are destroyed they are mortal.
• Revelation - This ability allows them to commune directly with their source of power. Only Arch Angels possess this power as those of the lower caste still may not hear his voice without enduring great pain.
• Empathy - The ability to feel and share in the pain, sorrow, and joy of another living creature. By doing so an Angel can tell how someone is feeling, however such powers are dangerous due to the ability to be overwhelmed or corrupted by an emotion.

Ranks in Heaven

First Sphere of Heaven

The First Sphere is the realm of the creators personal governors and servants.  

• Seraphim- Are the highest ranking angels of this sphere and have the most power in their realm. They can literally shape their heavenly sphere with their will to fit the needs of the creator. They personally oversee the care taking of Heaven and supervise lesser angels governing the operations in heaven heavily. Because they work most directly to the creator and carry out his will & word directly, they generally have the most influence in heaven. They are second in raw power outside of heaven only to ArchAngels.
• Cherubim- Act as servants to the creator and essentially the drones of heaven doing the care taking. 

Second Sphere of Heaven

The Second Sphere is the realm in which heavens security resides overseeing balance and order. 

• Powers- The primary duty of the "Powers" is to supervise the movements of the heavenly bodies in order to ensure that the cosmos remains in order. They are elite warrior angels and oversee lesser angels. They are not the most powerful angels but do have the most authority acting as Heavens Security forces separate from Heaven Military forces.
• Virtues- Responsible for most miracles and serve as supervisors of miracles performed other than themselves.

Third Sphere of Heaven

The third Sphere is the realm in which heavens military resides. They act as guides, protectors, and messengers outside of heaven.

• ArchAngels- Are the generals of heaven and in terms of raw power are the most powerful even out of heaven than any other angel created. They over see actions directly effecting worlds and the people that are on them and carry out the blessings or wraith of god as if they embodied his left and right hand.
• Angels- Lowest order of angels but are the most commonly known. They do all kinds of duties but generally act under the orders of the ArchAngels and function as messengers.
  

Other Classes of Angel

• Nephilim- Was used to classify the children of an angel and human. But can be used interchangeably to classify a hybrid that is half angel in general. 
• Higher Angel- Not really a rank or class of angel but is used sort of as a billet in reference to a normal angel that is either by skill, power, authority, or combination greater than that of a regular angel but not enough so to be classified as anything else. 
• Grigori- Was a classification of angels that first met with mankind before the flood and were meant to watch over and protect them. They were an elite class of angel similar to the Powers but disobeyed the will of god, brought about chaos and corruption to humanity, and fathered destructive Nephilim enticing gods wraith and the great flood as well as being noted as the angels who fell with Lucifer, if not sided with him. The most powerful of these beings were noted as similar to Serephim in raw power. These angels are imprisoned in heaven, hell, or another manner but imprisoned.
  

Notable Angels

• ArchAngel Michael- Michael is the incarnation of god as an angel similarly to how jesus is the incarnation of god as man. He is the highest general and noted as the leader of archangels and the one who cast Lucifer down.
• ArchAngel Gabriel-The greatest messenger angel.
• ArchAngel Raphael-  The greatest angel of healing.
• ArchAngel Uriel- Oversees Sacrament of Confirmation, Greatest angel of poetry
• ArchAngel Zadkiel- Greatest angel of freedom, benevolence, mercy
• ArchAngel Metatron- Scribe of Heaven
• ArchAngel Lucifer- The Light Bringer is renowned as the angel who rebelled against god because of his contempt for humanity. He brings evil and temptation to the world and is known as the deceiver. He is responsible for creating the first demons.
• Grigori Azazel- He taught men the art of warfare, crafting of weapons, and people the secrets of witchcraft corrupting their manners, leading them into wickedness and impurity; until at last he was defeated and imprisoned by the archangel Raphael. He is noted to be the chief leader among the Grigori.
