STRENGTHS

• Familial Loyalty: She is all about family and she will cut a bitch if you hurt one of them.
• Intelligent: Even though she has his BFA in Acting she also has a Minor Biology
• Feelings: She can easily read people well and very easily hide her own feelings, which come in handy at times.
• Magic: She is very adept with her magical abilities as well as her twin brother. They are Telepathic, which is a Lovelace Trait. The Twins have a Magic Act as well together. They are apart of the Lovelace Coven. She like her brother can sign her magic or write the more potent spells in her own blood.
• Fighter; Tara is tough when it comes to dealing with threats, especially on her family. She can take care of herself, and she usually lands on her feet. She doesn’t tolerate a lot of bull.

WEAKNESSES

• PTSD: The Lovelace Fraternal Twins Suffer from PTSD because on the same night Merry’s Mother was killed their parents were also murdered. They struggle with the fact that they never really new their parents well. They also remember waking up to a very bloody mess which heavily traumatized them. They frequently need to take emotional times outs which effect work.
• Tana and Merry: She will do anything for Tana and Merry they dance the line of being codependent.
• Pride; She is far too proud to admit that she can be wrong. She believes that she is awesome and can’t do any wrong. Merry and Tana frequently tell her otherwise and bring her back down to earth. But she doesn’t mind.
• Insecure: She has terrible Self Image issues. She has struggled with an eating disorder. She doesn’t really like what she sees in the mirror.
• Isolomonothanatophobia: She has the fear of dying alone.

LIKES

• Practicing Magic: Tara loves to practice magic she is thoroughly skilled with her telepathy and magic in general as well as her brother. She is a diligent practitioner and very focused. How else would she have a successful Magic Show? But the catch is that when doing spoken magic she must say her spells backwards.
• Clothes: They are her mantra. She loves them, she loves shopping in general. Thank goodness her act is successful or she’d be bankrupt along with her brother.
• Food: Like her brother she is a foodie with a vengeance. She and her brother run a food blog. And they blog about all the lovely dishes they eat at various places.
• Thoughtful Boys: If you send her a good morning texts she will gush about you for weeks. She really likes guys that take the time to do nice things for no reason.
• Flowers: The Girl has a green thumb and is very good with herbs for potions.

DISLIKES

• Deaths: Since the death of her parents she doesn’t deal with it well nor does her brother.
• Tara: She has horrible self esteem issues. Sometimes she will cry if she looks in the mirror too long.
• Sexism: She hates overtly masculine rude sexist men and women. She doesn’t like gender roles.
• Abusiveness: She will smack that down right before it hits. She doesn’t like the idea of a man hitting anyone. Its degrading and she will cut a man down.
• Nosy People: She doesn’t like people who pry into her life. She doesn’t mind a hello how are you and where are you from but someone who is being a snoop will make her very mad.

HISTORY

The twins were born in San Francisco, California until they were four years old. They were born to Zarek Lovelace and Bianca Lovelace nee Holmes. The children were quickly moved to their Uncle Roberts home and were adopted by him especially when he found out that their parents were murdered the same night as Merry’s mother. He worried for their safety and didn’t bat an eyelash when asked to foster them.
He was startled and disturbed when he found out that the very same words were written over the children’s’ cribs. “Someday Soon….” What was even more frightening was it was written in Sign Writing almost as if the culprit knew that Tana was Deaf. As the twins were growing up with Merry and Robert, they never asked because their Uncle would get visibly upset if they mentioned the day. The Twins and Merry grew up being very close knit. It was never twins and a singleton; life was like having triplets for Robert and the children.
The Twins grew up in a very good home and always had fun playing with Merry and never thought they were unfortunate for losing their family because they hardly remembered their parents. They were raised to be good people and respect Nature and Magic. They went to a Charter School for the Arts on scholarship; they went to San Fran State and received Bachelors of Fine Arts in Acting. The only thing the twins differed in was their minor. Tana got a minor in Chemistry while Tara received one in Biology.
Once they graduated they decided to start their own Magic Show act and tour the States and a couple of times in Italy, England and Belize. They currently finished up an act in their hometown and decided to help Merry reassemble the Familial Coven and have taken a break from show business.
They love to hang out and have fun. Often times The Twins will go to various clubs for Deaf or Lgbt people to have fun and chill. Neither Tana nor Tara has a hard time making friends or dating.
For about a year Tara split from her brother because she married a man that she thought she loved. He turned out to be a money hungry and abusive, awful man. She tolerated his abuse for several months before she got an annulment. She despises the man now and refuses to speak to her. But he is very obsessed with her and thinks he can one day win her back by very devious means.

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

I want to expand on the Lovelace family dynamic. I would also like to some how integrate the Twins and the over all family in the Site Wide plot. I also might have someone make her husband and go deeper in to that story arc. I also would like to delve deeper into the mystery behind the death of her parents.

Tara rushed into her room and started shoving clothes into her fendi bag. She took all her important belongings. Today was the last straw. She would not tolerate Zador, her husband hitting her anymore. She was tired of covering the bruises on her face and her back. She rushed to get things packed and called her brother to come pick her up from the air port. She also bought the soonest flight out of Dallas to San Francisco.
She wrote her husband a small letter:
Zador, My Love
I loved you once but I cannot ignore you abuse any longer. I tolerated it for two long. If you ever loved me ,you would have kept your promises. I am leaving you for a better life away from you. I have to do what is best for me. I have to leave this hostile and poisonous life that you have given me. I am sorry we couldn’t work out our issues but you obviously have other priorities than loving your wife. I hope you can move on just as I am about to do. Be safe and Be Well. There will always be a small place in my heart for the good memories that came from this marriage.

Zatara.

She licked the envelope and wiped the tears from her face. And set the letter on the kitchen counter.[ She grabbed the belongings she packed, locked the door behind her, got in the cab and never looked back.
