Minerva knew she had screwed up... Again, which she partially blamed on the familiarity she felt around the people she interacted with. How instant the connections were there, causing her to perhaps forget that she wasn't in her own time. A time, which she by the way could never return to, because it no longer existed. Still, her worries were big enough that she had no idea whether or not she should and could tell certain things. She had not forgotten her training, though these past few days, it had become harder to separate one from the other in her mind. Even if she knew that Isolde had trained her for that, albeit perhaps not for such extremes like she was in now.
She knew she could do it though, she had been trained for this. She had been trained to endure these kinds of things no matter what. It was hard on her emotionally though, to see the people she cared most about, not recognizing her, not knowing her. Her heart often enough seemed to scream See me, recognize me, love me!, even if her mind and luckily her mouth didn't answer. It seemed that though her father had been the one to commit the ultimate treason, she was the one that was punished for it. She knew she had to move past that and that even thinking about it, was a childish act. Yet, she couldn't resist feeling this and she couldn't resist wanting someone to take care of her the same way that she was trying to take care of the bigger balance. The bigger picture.
When Isolde showed up, she was both immensely grateful and a little annoyed. She felt annoyed for the fact that her acting like this, her saying these things must look bad enough for Isolde that she thought she needed saving. She did need saving, but that was besides the point. Though she recognized the predicament she was bringing herself in, she also knew damned well that once she stopped panicking, she should have been able to talk herself out of that. Which meant that she was a little 50/50 about how happy with this she ultimately was. Then again, it didn't happen every day that her aunt helped her out in a situation like this, which was pretty nice.
She was guessing that her problem had more to do with the principle, than the actual problem itself. She put up a smile when Isolde said that Minerva was one of hers and nodded, as she lowered her head to Isolde in a sign of respect, which didn't have to be faked, seeing that she still possessed a great deal of respect for the dragoness. She looked at Seth, with a slight smile on her face and nodded. "Guilty as charged, I'm afraid. I am very sorry about this. About how this must seem. I sometimes tend to let myself get dragged away. I didn't mean to offend you, if I did." She spoke, hoping that this would come off as enough of an apology as she needed right now, with how this was weird enough on its own, without it having to become even more weird and uncomfortable. If that was even still possible at this stage, with everything lately.
