Waiting The Storm (Sienna/Open)

[Seth]

A part of Seth was glad that Sienna would accompany him, another was of wariness towards Draven. Although Seth could feel a sort of well meaning from the vampire, he could also feel an animalistic nature from him, much like other vampires. As Draven explained that he fed mostly on animal blood, Seth only heard one word: Mostly. While he would not press further into the situation, he was secretly keeping a glance on Draven. The vampire may have only fed on animal blood, but if Seth found that Draven could not hold his bloodlust, then he would send Draven back to the grave. Until then, Seth gave Draven the benefit of a doubt.

“We shall travel by night,” Seth said to both, “the less likely we’ll be seen, the better. We’ll meet back here at dusk.”


Stealth was imperative now, more than ever. If someone was watching Seth, and has sent him a vampiric messenger to take him to the location in general, then one could never be too careful. For all Seth knew, he was walking into an ambush, and could very well be endangering Sienna with this mission. Although he was well aware of what she was, and what kind of warriors angels were, he would not forgive himself if his mission endangered her. Even if Draven turns out to be helpful, then Seth would not want the vampire’s danger either


Opening the door to the back, Seth looked back to Sienna, realizing that he had more words to say before he decided to wander off to find a place to sleep. “I appreciate your assistance.” He said with a soft smile, “I am in your debt when you need me.”

Sienna didn't feel entirely comfortable around this vampire, without even being able to help it. There seemed to be something off about him and she knew that there was no way she could be the only one that felt this. She wasn't sure what it was or if she could place it or not, which was the exact reason that she stayed on the sidelines for now. She looked at the wound of the vampire. "For your sake I hope so. I could look at it if it really would prove to be a problem. Which it seems it will if you do not drink blood." She said, though she didn't like having to suggest this. This would mean that she would put some of her cards on the table and she wasn't feeling too happy about that.

She couldn't help but scoff when he said that he wasn't a normal vampire, thinking how he wasn't the vampire to say this and surely wouldn't be the last. She too heard the 'mostly' in the vampire's voice and wasn't too happy about this at all. She sighed, deciding she should give in a little when the vampire asked her what her name was and if he could at least have that. "Name's Sienna." She said simply, as she looked at him and returned his smile with one of her own, even though it was faint.

She looked at Seth and nodded when he said that they should travel by night, agreeing that this would be the best course of action. That way she would still have time to wrap things up at the pub and not make a scene out of her leaving. She nodded when she heard Seth say that the less likely they'll be seen, would be the better. "Dusk it is." She said simply. She knew that this whole mission could be a risk, she knew that there was a possibility that they were walking in a trap, but she was prepared for that. She knew that everyday people could try to take advantage of you and if someone was planning on doing that to Seth... She just wouldn't nor couldn't allow it. She caught Seth looking at her and looked back at him, wondering what he was thinking. When she heard what he said, she simply smiled and nodded. "Of course, you do not need to do any of this alone, Seth. I am not doing this so you could be in my debt. I am doing this, because I want to."

He did not need to do this alone, she said to him. It was odd for Seth to hear that, because he was raised to take care of himself. Dragons had no honor for someone that could not do for themselves, and Seth was no exception. Seth’s hand remained at his side, but he was close to being self-compelled to place a hand on the side of her arm. However, he did not, and kept his eyes to the ground soon after. Looking back over to Draven, and back to Sienna, he wondered if she felt unease with the vampire as well.

“Still, I will not forget this,” he said earnestly, “know that you have my gratitude.”

Seth pulled his hood over his head again and walked outside of the back and into the rain. He would stay close by though, until Sienna had made it back to the pub. He hated that he did not stick around, but Seth felt that he had to make sure that nobody was looking for Draven, or would attempt to find him. Though Seth had his personal opinions on the vampire, and how Seth was now curious as to who could have sent him, and why, he could not afford Draven’s discovery, or a bloody fight to draw out from the people of the city.

There was also the fact that Draven was sent by someone. There was someone out there that had knowledge of the incident, and they were reaching out to Seth. Whoever it was though, did not see fit to approach Seth directly, and merely sent Draven as a pawn in their place. A strange sense came over Seth, and he felt as if he, himself would soon become a pawn, just like Draven. It was a feeling that although there seemed to be no clear and present danger, there was a sickening, underlying feeling that made Seth feel aware of a game someone was playing, and now that Seth was pulled into it, now that others were caught in it, Seth could only imagine that soon, things would go from bad to worse.

With that, Seth made his way to the city bell tower, and made his sanctuary at the top, where he would least likely be seen.

[Draven]

"I would like that," He said to Sienna when she offered to help with his wound. His thoughts turned to Adele. Since they shared blood in the way that they had, she would now know that he had been hurt. He was not too sure if she was feel the pain or just feel something was not right. ether way he had to get this healed. "I have lost count now how many times I have been wounded."

Draven remained silent as he listened to both Seth and Sienna form a plain. They sounded so serious. What was this whole thing about anyway. “know that you have my gratitude.” Draven heard Seth say. It made him laugh. Chris also would talk like that in his head and drove him nuts.

"Do you guys sound that why on purpose? Lighten up. I will be at the house above the blacksmith shop tonight. So if Sienna you are serious about wanting to help me, you know where I will be."

He left without another word. It was risky but he did not want to go to the grave yard again tonight. That was where he made his deal with Corvin.

Draven jumped to the top window. And made sure that both the blacksmith and his wife were each having a dream they did not want to wake from. They would stay asleep till he removed the dreams. With that in place he just walked into the shop and made his way up the stairs. He sat at the table and chairs in front of a roaring fire. In opened the scroll Corvin had given him. "Chris what have you gotten us into." Draven said. "But have you ever though that if this does work and I become free of you. Would it kill me?" Draven said to the ghost in his head. "Merry, monster, keep her safe I get it. And what about Adele, you leave her out of this."
